Contessa Z comes from a truly exceptional damline, with her mother Daloubette van de Krekebeke at the heart of the family. Daloubette was herself a successful international showjumper, competing at 1m60 level. Her qualities in the ring — combined with her carefulness, strong character, and winning mentality — earned her the title of BWP Elite Mare.
Her influence as a broodmare has been equally impressive. Daloubette has produced a remarkable collection of international performers, including Jaloubet van de Oosthoeve, who has competed at 1.60m level, as well as several other offspring active at international level. Her offspring also include the BWP-approved stallions Pocket Rocket H and Qupido H, further underlining the quality and versatility of this exceptional maternal line.
The family goes even deeper through Ula van de Krekebeke, whose offspring include several successful 1.40–1.45m performers. The line traces back to the foundation mare Doublette, a mare behind a number of notable international showjumpers, including Semtex P, Wick I, and the approved stallion Nithard, all competing at 1.60m level.
